All-wheel drive with acceleration slip control provides smooth handling.
Plus, the iX comes with a Flexible Fast Charger with 120V or 240V capability for easy charging at home. With the High-Performance dual motors, you can expect a maximum driving range of about 288 miles; and in the dual electric, that increases to 324 miles. For most drivers, that would mean charging up fully only about once a week.
Slip into the cabin and find the standard luxury features that you've come to expect from BMW, such as perforated upholstery, gold bronze trim accents, and 4-zone automatic climate control.
The iX also offers standard ambient lighting. When you start the car, create an environment to suit your mood and match your music, which will have concert-like quality thanks to the audio system. A standard HiFi Sound System with 205-watt digital amplifier and 12 speakers envelops your cabin in crisp, rich acoustics.
Keep your phone charged the whole trip with wireless Qi phone charging. It comes equipped with active cooling to prevent your phone from overheating, too.
There are two trim levels for the BMW iX, each of which offers incredible luxury and performance.
The BMW iX xDrive50 delivers the luxury you've come to expect from this brand, and it adds innovative, efficient features to optimize your all-electric drive. For instance, the thermally insulated windshield helps maintain a consistent temperature in your cabin-saving energy.
There are also hidden heating elements in the dash and door panels. These radiate heat to keep your cabin warm without needing to use the heater, which also conserves energy.
Optimized for performance, this racetrack-inspired trim level of the BMW iX can reach speeds upwards of 130 MPH. It offers high-performance handling features, too, including Cornering and Dynamic Brake Control as well as M Sport Brakes with Blue Calipers.
Using the crystal-finished controls on the central console, choose personalized driving modes to tailor your BMW model's handling dynamics to suit the driving conditions ahead. Drive modes include SPORT, EFFICIENT, and PERSONAL, with the last one being yours to configure.
