BMW X7 xDrive40i

The X7 xDrive40i runs on a 3.0L BMW TwinPower Turbo inline 6-cylinder that gets up to 335 horsepower and 331 lb-ft of torque. To manage this impressive base engine, you'll have an 8-speed Sport Automatic transmission. For traction and stability, xDrive intelligent all-wheel drive is also standard.

This trim rides on 21-inch gray wheels and features a sharp design with a chrome exhaust, satin exterior trim, and satin roof rails. Inside, you'll find high-gloss wood accents, SensaTec upholstery, and velour carpeting in the cargo hold.

You'll also find plenty of ways to get comfortable with 16-way power front seats, automatic 4-zone climate control, and a panoramic moonroof.

In addition to the impressive amenities, the base trim also includes lots of technology. For example, Live Cockpit Professional comes standard and includes a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a 12.3-inch center screen.

The center screen includes everything from a navigation system to smartphone compatibility through Bluetooth®, Apple CarPlay®, and Android Auto™. While that connectivity lets you stream music, you'll also have plenty of stations to choose from with SiriusXM® and HD Radio™.

BMW X7 M50i

You'll find more power under the hood of the X7 M50i. It comes with a 4.4L BMW M TwinPower Turbo V8 that gets up to 523 horsepower and 553 lb-ft of torque. On top of that, this trim also includes M Sport brakes, an M Sport exhaust, and an M Sport differential.

In addition to the added performance, this trim has a more distinct design with 22-inch M V-spoke Cerium Grey wheels, performance tires, and Shadowline exterior trim. The interior also gets a few upgrades with Vernasca leather, fine line black wood interior trim, and an Anthracite Alcantara® headliner.

You'll also enjoy some added technology, including a Full-color Head-Up Display and a Harman Kardon® Surround Sound Audio System that includes a 464-watt amplifier and 16 speakers. The system is also easier to use with Gesture Control.

This trim even gives you more visibility and awareness with standard Parking Assistant Plus with Surround View Cameras, 3-D View, and Active Parking Distance Control.

BMW X7 ALPINA XB7

The top trim level is the BMW X7 ALPINA XB7. It also runs on a 4.4L V8, but this configuration can deliver up to 612 horsepower and 590 lb-ft of torque. It also features an APLINA sport suspension, a sport differential, and a reinforced 8-speed Sport Automatic transmission with APLINA SWITCH-TRONIC software and quick-shift buttons.

You can even make your SUV more aerodynamic with a 2-axle self-leveling air suspension that features an exclusive ALPINA Sport mode for lower ride height. Even when you're riding lower, your X7 will still stand out with a quad exhaust and satin aluminum exterior trim.

The interior also features an exquisite aesthetic with Merino leather seats, a leather-wrapped dashboard, and a hand-finished ALPINA LAVALINA leather steering wheel with signature blue and green stitching. Wood accents are again standard, but you'll get to choose between walnut nature black, piano black, or myrtle wood.

This trim also offers a more comfortable drive with massaging front seats and Active Comfort Driver with Road Preview. It automatically adjusts the suspension to adapt to the road ahead.
